The Carnivals of Cuba

The Carnivals in Cuba are the most popular festivities in all large and small towns ot the Island.

Dates of celebration of this massive parties are different.

In Havana city, the Carnaval de La Habana is celebrated in July, every year, starting about Jul 19.

In Santiago de Cuba, along more than 100 years, the Carnaval de Santiago take places from July 19 to 29. It is the number one popular festivity of Cuba.

In Bayamo, Granma, carnivals go from August 16 to 20. Bayamo is the National Monument City of Cuba.

Other carnival festivities in Granma province are held in Manzanillo, Jiguani, Guisa, Rio Cauto and other small towns of this eastern territory of Cuba.
