POLÍTICA DE EQUIPAJE DE CUBANA DE AVIACIÓN
Equipaje Facturado – Equipaje de Cabina
El equipaje de cabina es el que transporta el pasajero consigo, teniendo total responsabilidad del mismo y cuyo peso está incluido en la franquicia permitida. No debe ser aceptado a bordo si no posee etiqueta y está limitado a un peso máximo de 5kg y limitado por volumen a lo que físicamente pueda colocarse debajo del asiento del pasajero o en los compartimentos superiores destinados a tales efectos. La suma de las tres dimensiones no debe exceder los 115 cm, o sea 45 pulgadas
Artículos restringidos o limitados que pueden transportarse
Existen un grupo de artículos, que su transportación es permitida en el equipaje facturado, pero de forma restringida o limitada, como por ejemplo: bebidas alcohólicas, pequeño cilindro de oxígeno de uso médico, marcapasos cardiacos, artículos perforo-cortantes, punzantes o contundentes de cualquier material, longitud o tamaño (incluye máquina de afeitar). Consejos sobre el Equipaje
Le ofrecemos algunos consejos útiles para su viaje.
Sobre el Equipaje Facturado
. Identifique su equipaje por dentro y por fuera de manera visible con sus datos personales.
. Conozca la franquicia libre permitida de equipaje que puede transportar en la bodega del avión.
Si el peso de su equipaje sobrepasa dicha franquicia, deberá pagar un recargo por Exceso de Equipaje.
. No guarde ningún objeto de valor en su equipaje facturado.
. Retire de su equipaje todas las etiquetas de viajes anteriores.
. Empaquete las cajas o contenedores en un embalaje resistente.
. Proteja esmeradamente los artículos frágiles que se transportan dentro del equipaje.
Sobre el Equipaje de Cabina
. Conozca la franquicia de equipaje que puede transportar en su equipaje de cabina.
. Asegúrese que no debe llevar en su equipaje de cabina los artículos prohibidos o restringidos por nuestra aerolínea.
. Debe portar en su equipaje de cabina sus medicamentos, documentos, artículos de valor y dinero.
Exceso de Equipaje y Equipaje no acompañado
En nuestra aerolínea el cargo por kilo (2.2 lbs) de exceso de equipaje será el 1.5 % aproximadamente de la tarifa más alta en clase Económica de ida. No obstante su por ciento estará dado por la ruta de acuerdo al destino seleccionado.
El equipaje no acompañado se debe transportar como carga, cumpliéndose los requisitos de aceptación, documentado, marcado y manifestado como cualquier otra carga con su conocimiento de embarque (AWB).
Equipajes especiales que requieren de previa Reservación
Para transportar artículos no facturados de naturaleza voluminosa o frágil como: Valijas diplomáticas, instrumentos musicales, etc. en la cabina de pasajeros será necesario reservar asientos y pagar el cargo normal por exceso de equipaje por kilo. Si desea una mayor información, contacte con la oficina de nuestra compañía más cercana a usted.
El equipaje especial no será incluido en el peso del equipaje libre permitido del pasajero y no podrá pesar más de 75 kg por asiento. Otros equipajes especiales no podrán ser transportados en la cabina motivo de regulaciones de seguridad establecidas. Entre estos equipajes están:
Equipos para actividades subacuáticas
Puede consistir en no más de uno de cada artículo relacionado a continuación:
. Tanque de respiración vacío.
. Válvula reguladora de presión.
. Arreos para sostener el tanque.
. Careta de buceo.
. Un par de aletas de inmersión.
. Un tubo de respiración (snorkel).
. Un cuchillo.
. Una escopeta de arpón.
. Una pistola de aire.
. Un chaleco salvavidas empacado en su bolsa.
Equipos de Golf
El equipo de golf comprende una bolsa, palos y un par de zapatos de golf, cuyo peso no exceda de 15 Kg. El peso puede incluirse en la franquicia libre permitida de equipaje.
Aceptación de Equipaje
Nuestra aerolínea no asume la responsabilidad por:
. Equipaje roto o deteriorado, empaque frágil o inapropiado.
. Equipajes que por su forma, peso o volumen dificulte su manipulación y pueda dañar el resto del equipaje o estructura de la aeronave. Estos equipajes pueden ser despachados como carga.
. Dinero, joyas, documentos de valor, artículos frágiles, valiosos o perecederos. El pasajero debe llevarlos bajo su custodia y responsabilidad.
Artículos Prohibidos
• Corrosivos (ácidos, alcalinos y baterías de pila húmeda).
• Explosivos, municiones, fuegos artificiales, cartuchos de bengala, etc.
• Materiales inflamables (combustible para fosforeras, etc.).
• Materiales oxidantes (peróxidos, decolorantes, etc.).
• Venenos y sustancias infecciosas.
• Materiales radioactivos.
• Mercurio, materiales magnetizados.
• Armas de fuego.

Sports equipment such as: Golf bag, scuba diving, camping, tennis equipment and fishing, will be accepted according to the baggage regulations previously described. Free of charges up to 20 KG. All other sporting equipment will be charges accordingly to excess baggage charges The bicycle must be placed—with handlebars fixed sideways and pedals removed—in a rigid and/or hard shell container specifically designed for shipping or (when transporting collapsible bicycles) in a bicycle suitcase. If not packaged in a container, passengers have to buy a plastic bicycle bag and will accept the item).
The acceptance us checked baggage will be subject to its proper packaging.

Carry-On:
Additional to checked luggage, passengers are entitled one piece of carry-on with the maximum weight of 7.0 kg (16.0 pounds) and maximum measurements of 23cm x 40cm x 55 cm ( 9” x 15.5” x 21.5” ). Others important conditions for checked luggage:
• The numbers of the pieces that may be checked are unlimited, but the confirmation will be only at the Airport check-in counter.
• Boxes may be accepted provided that they are suitably packed and comply with weight and size restrictions.
• Not pieces will be accepted that exceed 32 Kg (70 pounds).
